This tends to back fire. If people know you for releasing garbage, everyone will ignore you when you finally release a good track.

Oh I was kidding, I totally agree with you. I myself try to take as much time putting out something as well put-together as possible before sending it out. And I NEVER spam, it just doesn't work. EVER.
Unless your shit is THAT bad that you're attracting that much attention, and you just become famous that way.
