Underside Rear of X2

Does the underside of your X2 look like this?

In particular I'm wondering what the 2 small silver disks are for (one on each side of the car down there).

On mine these disks are very flimsy & stuck to the underside of the car below the trunk space (or boot for those of you in the UK) with some sticky stuff.

Out of pure curiosity I just had my car washed and when I got home I took a look underneath and I noticed in your signature you have an S drive. I have a 2019 M35i Xdrive No adaptive suspension.

I have a whole lot more down there and if I think I'm looking at the right place.. mine does have an imprint of a hole, but it's definitely sealed all the way with the same material. (Ie the top left of my picture?)

Here's a shot that is closest that I can do ...

Yeah lots more cool stuff under yours! Appreciate you checking it out & posting up!

I may have to go to the dealership on a Sunday sometime & crawl up under another S Drive to see if mine is weird or if they’re all like it.

I believe it is a hole for a wire harness.

I can’t figure out why they’re plugged like that. Doesn’t match any other plugged areas. 🤔

The plugs cover the drain holes that need to be there when the car is dipped in the appropriate zinc coating/ inhibitor during manufacture, so the excess fluid is allowed to drain out.

Confirmed today by looking up under another X2 I saw in a parking lot. Same silver tabs as mine. Still think they're weird & out of place looking but appears to just be what BMW did.
