Hello, i am a newbie here.
I can't anymore update my map using BMW Download manager.
I have downloaded the west 2023-1 NEXT map from a torrent found on a google drive but, if I understand correctly, the next step is now to find a correct activation code but I don't know where to find one. Any help would be appreciated.

hi shawn,
new to the bmw scene, just got a used 2017 bmw x1. still learning it's features [and uniqueness, like coding a new battery install!], especially coding to unlock or change the car's features. i've been searching a couple of forums, but the abundance of info and comments are a bit overwhelming, and not really sure how to get started. hence a bit reluctant coz of fear of bricking the car. we just got it!

anyway, i was hoping i can started with an update the North Amerrica ROUTE map. mine is currently 2017. Read somewhere i may need an FSC code. don't i have that since i only need an update? if i need it, could you possibly provide that to me?

appreciate any help.

FSC Code you have now is for current map version. New version requires new FSC Code. PM sent.

I have downloaded the Road map Europe way 2023-2 from one of the BMW forums but it needs a code apparently , can someone help where o get it from please. I had apple airplay activated a while ago will this affect it thanks

Still have subscription till end of the year so can update to 2023-2 maps the official way but curious what I should do after that…

Please help to understand what is going on. I have BMW X1 F48 2019, im trying to understand how i could update navi system, currently i have
Road Map EUROPE Way 2018-4

I've tried to go with official way and register via connecteddrive.de aka bmw app, but no any activation code were received after inputing VIN (have no idea should it be ok or not? maybe i dont have sim card inside?)

Second way ive tried to get FCS code using USB stick and 1b.zip archive, but also nothing (tried several USB with FAT32 format) Thinking maybe it is only for CIC system, my car seems to have NBT EVO.

Could anyone help me and explain is there a chance to update my navi to 2023-2? Wanna have traffic sign recognition working, and fresh maps

You have ENTRYNAV2 Head Unit, not NBT EVO. You need Patch and Full Set of Custom FSC Codes. PM sent.

Traffic is a Telematic Subscription service. So long as you have an activate subscription, it should work.
