Pass side AC/Heat issue

I have a 2017 X1 and it’s driving me crazyz. Its not getting any heat in the winter & out the passenger side blows coldz. Now its summer turn on the AC and it blows hot air out the passenger vent. Any ideas?

you probably need to readdress the blend flap motor via SW

worst scenario is the blend flap broken (see my other post about that)

Is this something I can do on my own with software? I have a windows laptop and cable that I use to tune my F90. How do I obtain software?

Yes try to find e-stays and ista+p, with ista you can read out errorcodes

Sure,
you can use ISTA for diag. and other tests

Whats the OS requirements to run the software? I assume this stuff is really old software are we talking Windows XP?

before readdressing check the % of opening, if there are no variations on the temp. it may be the blend flap broken..

(if the cam of the flap is broke, readdressing won't give any result)

Ista can run under Win7, but is always better to have at least 10,
HW speaking: at least 2tb SSD, i3 and enought ram.

test can be performed via ISTA, but the most recent diagnostic tool (professional/indy shop) are able top perform these tests as well
