Just wanted to say NAY! lol so much passion here guys.

Great work Gitani on time to market.

M5 results for comparison:

Pretty chunky improvement across the torque and power whole curve.

You're absolutely right

Glad someone can read.

Not to go offtopic... but I noticed you have a 997.1 Turbo as well as the new M. How do they compare ?

Nice to see prices are somewhat in line with the top tier offerings of downpipes from back in the n54 days..

And that they weren't crazy expensive like my F10 M5 with my AMS ones being almost 4k and super sprint being over 4k.

This is also true. I know that ER has their solution coming out very very soon and am curious to see where their prices will fall in comparison.

ER has my car and testing out a few things. Should have back this week and dyno this weekend.

People should just be happy with new products coming out. Takes time for everything to develop. Gintani is first on the market and looks good.

Fact, downpipes can void your warranty, it depends on your SA at the dealer. Mine was chill with them on my 335i, but some will void warranty if they see them period.

Gintani, I'm still confused on the CEL that normally happens on BMWs for catless DPs. Can you elaborate on this? O2 sim?

Josh's (tightie) car has put on approximately 300 miles without a CEL light coming on. We've made our secondary o2 sensor bungs on our down pipes with a special design which we have been testing on our M5 and M6 for a while now with no CEL lights appearing. Now, we are testing them on the M3/M4 and pretty confident the results should be the same as our M5/M6. That being said, there is still no 100% guarantee of a CEL not appearing as of yet.

Sounds awesome.

I cant wait to hear the exhaust with the stock DPs and the secondary cats removed. Should be cheaper (but less gains) but easier since those aren't monitored in terms of not getting a cel/

They have already flashed into my car which no one in this world has been able to do, so I'm pretty confident that it will be done.

Listen smart ass, when its 90 degrees out, 630 pm in the afternoon, literally rolling the car out of the shop and not having time to flash the car back to stock because I have a family dinner every Friday night, that is a problem.

You want real results? Then calm your ass down and you will get them.

No need for your bullshit comments, it doesnt make a difference in my life if Gintani sells 1 down pipe or zero. I paid for mine, I'm happy with it and when I have a chance to dyno, I will.

Which I did, this morning. The world doesnt revolve around you.

With the e9x no tuner actually cracks the ECU. They all get the software and cable from the same source and just put their own branding on it.

In fact several (all?) of the tunes for the e9x come from the same original source and are just tweaked by the various tuners (if at all).
Not true.

It all depends on your service advisor.

Here is your dyno. The more we ran the car, the more power it made. Didn't turn the car off, didnt sit around waiting for a glory run. Every run was making more and more power. It just seems that the car is still adapting to the downpipes.

Here is the dyno:

Here is the dyno:

Nice gains in both top and low end torque

The downpipes seem to make a flatter torque curve overall, which is good news.. The improvement at high RPM must feel very good.

Nice numbers, Josh. Definitely is making power everywhere. I really like that it increased both HP and TQ significantly above 5750rpm, which is where it really needs it IMO.

EDIT: This should quiet the peanut gallery for a while, at least...

Is the stock run from a couple days ago? Or did they remove the pipes today and do a back-to-back before/after?

Why not do the run on the same EAS dyno so we can see the real before and after numbers? Curious what the downpipes might add alone! This car did around 420whp at EAS before right?

The stock runs were from a couple of days ago. Not back-to-back.

I don't understand how the numbers I posted isn't real, but regardless I do plan on going to EAS to redyno. It is just a mission getting there since its 60 miles away. I put down 424 hp/425 tq.

This was with just down pipes alone (no flash). What are you referring to as "real" before and after numbers? If you are trying to suggest we are fabricating numbers, you can wait for Josh to go to EAS to dyno his car there (which he has already planned to do, but cannot drive to Anaheim for everyone else's convenience). You act like the gains are so big that we would have to cheat it? It makes decent power, nothing to brag about.
