Any significant weight savings by switching to carbon fiber?
Actually yes. It feels super lightweight on the wrist, very comfortable. I was expecting it to be stiffer than it is, but it's got good flex to it.

Somehow, co-workers at Lockheed-Martin can "award" points for innovation, etc. My wife had enough to buy a new set of luggage for our upcoming cruise.

Let's just say we will never lose our luggage on the carousel.

Even on stock wheels and pretty basic tires, the car felt extremely solid and planted. It felt great on the twisties. On paper it has 276 horsepower but that's a bold face lie and some examples have up to 300+ horsepower so it's on par with modern family sedans . It's definitely not the fastest car in the world but I fell in love again with my childhood hero after driving it so in my mind, it does definitely live up to the hype.
I have a friend that has a really nice one, and it's something I've entertained from time to time, but what I'd want would be $100K+, and for that kind of money there are so many options. I still love them though.

A new washing machine...

Last week my washer started to make clunky noises during the spin cycle and didn't drain properly. I called the appliance technician who informed me that one of the brackets holding the drum was broken and that a replacement part was no longer available.

I received my new one yesterday. Currently doing towels in hot water.

Thanks! The blue goes great by the brown walls. I didn't know that before.

Looks a lot like the one we bought for our condo. We like it a lot except the cycle times seem to be very long.

Just upgraded to the Pixel 7 Pro from the 6 pro; though not proven, I was having connectivity issues with the 6 pro, otherwise, excellent phone. These are the colors of the phones...

Couple of Eve Thread-based light switches. The wifi-based Wemo switches I have are ok most of the time, but they tend to need a long time to recover from power blips or any network disruption. I'm hoping these Thread-based switches will be more robust.

Nice! I use the Leviton branded switches and plugs. I love them!

My interior light switches have no neutral wires, so I use the Lutron Caseta switches for them. My outside lights all have neutrals, so these Eve switches will work there. The Caseta switches are rock solid dependable, but I'm not big on the action of the switch itself. You need to push the top button or the bottom button, which makes it hard t do with an elbow if you're carrying something. These Eve switches are just contact switches. Touch them anywhere and the lights turn on or off.

That's a really cool feature and definitely ideal for those elbow moments.

I got a panel of 4 light swtiches. Would I be able to add this switch to this panel?

I ask becasue it uses one 4 gang wall plate. I'm assuming it should fit flush as a regular switch.

They usually fit in like any other switch. I have a Wemo and two Casetas in a three gang switch. So yeah, I assume it'll work fine in a four gang switch.
