retrofit LED headlights

Just wanted to check if anyone in meantime tried to replace halogen headlights to led headlights?

I just did this yesterday. I will have more to report. I was going to swap out the entire headlight with the modified units from aliexpress, but in talking with the seller, the bulbs can not be replaced. Seems strange. That was backed up by a review I found online. So I had to pass on that idea.

I have been made this retrofit this weekend, following the document shared here on the forum. In my case, the headlights PRE LCI LED, and I had already replaced in the PRE LCI rear lights the standard bulbs by LED, so the coding was already done.

What I did differently to avoid cutting the original cabling, I bought the female connector for the original PRE LCI connector and build a custom cabling with the LCI connector. Working perfectly!
