compatible, as your car DOES HAVE WIFI antenna.
You can fit larger display, it just needs coding then.

Hello All, Hope everyone is good.
I am new to forum and BMW world. I bought my first BMM last week ( 2020 MY X2). I was told by the dealer that the vehicle supports Apple Car Play and that was one of the reason I chosed X2. At first, apple car play purchase option was available on the BMW account but some how this week the same system says that Apple Car Play is not available.
I’m realy confused because I was using Apple
car Play on my previous Skoda and i would like to use on my new X2 too.
My vin is WBAYH320705R58465
And existing map version is EUROPA WAY 2019-4 R2144B1R

I will really be appreciated if anyone can help me if my vehicle supports car play? If yes, what should i do to active it plese?

Hi all, new to BMW and have just bought a 2018 X2 and would really like some help with getting Carplay activated. I don't mind if I can only use cable for connecting, I'm used to that.
I do have enet cable and software but not set up yet.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Got X2 2018 vin is EA95963 it has the large screen , hotspot, wireless charging , HUD

software road map EUROPE Way 2017-3 R2144B1R and its had the map update 20020-4 if that makes any difference lol.

Hi - is it possible to activate Carplay on my 2018 X2 (vin: EH38191) just by coding? AFAIK, I have wifi capability and I’m sure it was an option a couple of years ago, but it seems BMW no longer offer it for this model. Thanks

Popular topic. I’m also interested in Apple CarPlay compatibility. 2018 X2. My 16 year old is taking over this car and can’t live without it. Can it be done?
