High Performance Driving/Racing School suggestions?

Anyone have any suggestions or reviews for racing schools like Skip Barber? I'm trying to plan a trip and thought this one day course seemed cool: http://skipbarber.com/high-performance-driving-schools/

I'm in NJ so trying to make a trip out of it so anywhere in CA/AZ/FL works. Just wanted to see if there was anything else out there anyone would suggest?

That Laguna Seca location would be pretty awesome!

Why not do a Skip Barber Course at Lime Rock Connecticut? It's a great track to learn on.

Was at Lime Rock yesterday and as my first time ever doing a track, I think it would be a great track to start at. I think I got the bug so now I have to start looking into this as well

I've done the following Skip Barber courses at Lime Rock:

3-Day MX-5 Racing School.
Advanced Car Control School.
2-Day Advanced MX-5 Racing School (twice at Lime Rock and once at Sebring for a total of three times).
I also occasionally drive in the Skip Barber MX-5 Cup Race Series.

I highly recommend the Skip Barber Racing School. It may seem a little pricey, but it's extremely beneficial and a great value (they often have discounts if you ask).

I've always run out of talent before I run out of horsepower, so my philosophy is to spend my money on "driver mods" that I need and use rather than wasting my money on horsepower mods that I don't need and can't use.

Outlaw 06 thanks man I will look into Skip Barber. I hear you on the talent or lack there of on my part. I am used to driving my 900rwhp supra so believe me anything will feel like it needs more power at times. Anyway, thats a diff animal altogether and one that I wouldn't consider tracking at that HP level.

If you are on the skip barber email list you will get discounts emails weekly.

However doesn't seem to be many at lime Rock these days.

Of all the courses you have taken, which have you found the best, outlaw06?

My favorite Skip Barber course is the 2-Day Advanced Racing School. That's why I've taken it multiple times as "refresher training". I particularly enjoy the lead-follow lapping sessions with the instructors and their feedback afterwards. However, the 3-Day Racing School is a prerequisite for the 2-Day Advanced Racing School, so you don't have a choice on which course to take first.
