PSA: careful when you replace your own brake pads

I managed to break my front brake hose fitting when replacing the front pads. I was surprised how weak the metal part of the hose is compared to other BMWs I had. The caliper was a bit stuck on the pads so I had to pull pretty hard. When it finally came loose the line bent and cracked.

The spare part 34306894453 is about $60 and only available from the dealer.
