19 inch wheel weight

We had a 60 degree day over the weekend, and I didn't want to melt the snows, so I popped on the summer set and weighed the stock 19s with the Blizzack LMs and they came in at 53 pounds - tires weigh 25 pounds, per Tirerack specs, so the oe 19 inch wheels weigh in at 28 pounds..in case anyone was wondering.

Very good info! That also means the stock rim is pretty darned heavy.. For example my winter wheels spec in at 21 lbs a wheel. I think when I was looking on tire rack most were 25 ish lbs give or take.

My summer wheel/tire setup (Bremmerkraft BR17/conti extreme contact) is 8 pounds lighter per corner...felt good for the day, but most of that was the traction difference from the snow tires (even though the contis weren't even broken in) and I was mostly on the highway. Quick pic of the setup.
