I upgraded my oem hifi system with bavsound stage 1 door and center dash speakers. I also swapped to bimmertech pp82dsp amp.
I would like to swap underseat subwoofers also but don't want to spend on bavsound ghost or alpha 1 subwoofers.
I hope if anyone here on the forum can help who upgraded their subwoofers for the x1 that will fit, run at 2 ohms per bavsound, and cost less than ghost or alpha1. Thanks

I can recommend MATCH, made in Germany. They have a model specially for X1.
I changed in my car and now I have low frequencies too
Last year I paid around 200 - 250 euro.
But better search on Google.

Two years ago I installed Pioneer tweeters where the HK tweeters are located and my Car Audio garage whom I've known for years said that replacing the little 3" speakers in the doors were too small to be of any consequence so those tweeter did an amazing job. I also installed a Pioneer powered sub that comes with it's own remote control that fits in that small space under the dash next to the steering wheel. It has a built in EQ and volume control. Using the tone controls in my X1 (2018 with upgraded sound system but not HK) and the EQ that comes with the Pioneer Sub we were able to calibrate the sound to where it's really quite good. The sub fits in the back under the cargo cover and they used industrial velcro to attach the sub to the cargo floor. It never moves and can be detached if I decide to change my vehicle and keep it.
