Same here, but with Sports line instead of xLine (sports seats, black grille, ...).
Unfortunately the delivery is delayed.
I have to settle with the photos you share here. Many thanks.

One thing I find curious is (taking into account what I find here in this forum):
In Europe this is mainly a man's car.
In US a lot of users mention this is their's wife's car.

I guess that for Europe standards this is a medium/large car and for US this is a medium/small veicule.

Thank you - I have seen so many different shades in various different photographs & pictures that I began to doubt what it looked like. Hopefully mine should arrive next week. Exactly the same x-line, except I went for the 566 wheels.

Thanks for posting your X1 pictures guys!

Great photos from Germany, SSR! For a while I was thinking that you lived in Europe and hadn't realised that cars destined for the US also could take part in the European Delivery program! That's so cool to drive your car in Europe before getting it shipped across the Atlantic. Was wondering why your car had the US-style indicators How much extra does ED cost? Wish we could do this for Australian BMW orders, I suppose it would only be possible for LHD cars.

This is honestly the first pictures I have seen of the M-Sport that look good. It is probably the color though. All the other colors don't do the car justice. Great work and congrats!

ShinySteelRobot;

I gather it was a USA spec vehicle with US maps on the Sat nav
Did BMW add the Europe Maps as part of the deal

BMW NA gives a discount of -7% from the USA MSRP (aka RRP) for ED orders picked up in Germany and re-delivered to the USA. Currently the X1 is the only SUV eligible for Euro Delivery from Europe to the USA -- all the other BMW SUVs are made here in the USA.

Probably the X2 will eventually be eligible for this, too, once it starts production in Europe.

Yes, BMW gives you a USB drive with Euro maps on it for use during your European travels. Very kind of them. The delivery specialist simply plugged it into the USB port and restarted the Nav system and I was good to go.

Unfortunately the nav system's Real Time Traffic Information features don't work in Europe as its a US-spec car and Europe uses a different broadcast system for RTTI.

SSR. Your X1 build is awesome. M Sport and Esotil Blue ... doesn't get any better. Plus we see you have the thigh bolster already adjusted bragging it up for us US people that have/might be getting the standard X-Line non sort seats. Hope you post more pics of your European driving tour. Genuine and authentic congrats.

Many thanks!

At 6'3" my wife calls me "stupidly large" -- I think she means it lovingly -- and for her the standard seats were just fine. But for me, the extended thigh support made a huge difference during the 2 hr drive from Munich to Füssen. After having test-driven an X1 with standard seats, it seems the M Sport package with its Sport seats was money well spent, IMHO.

In the future, I really hope BMW adds Sport seats as a stand-alone option for customers around the world (without being forced to pay for M Sport).
