most likely line failure w/ fuel tank breather valve

If any line becomes brittle or fail that connects w/ the fuel tank breather valve which one (or two or three or four) line would you replace?

Hi bluemagnet,

Quick question, how do you know you have a problem with one of those lines? Usually, it fails the sensor itself (number 1 on your picture).

As a general rule, I would start inspecting the more accessible lines first. But, considering you just changed the IC, perhaps you should focus on the one that goes to the fuel tank (numbers 3,6,7 on your picture).

I keep getting two new codes after replacing new breather valve. Drivability doesn’t seem to be affected compared to before new IC and Breather.

I’ll look at the 3, 6, and 7. Hard to tell if there is anything physically wrong with them.

Mmm, weird. Usually changing the sensor solves the problem. I assume you cleared the error codes after replacing the sensor.

Have you seen these posts? I find hard to believe that the problem is the lines.

So I had ordered the breather valve from Amazon. Some Chinese maker. Ordered second one same error code. Must be a faulty valve. I’ll probably just get genuine replacement.

Fuel tank vent valve

I have a P11C7 ( Evap system differential pressure sensor absolute pressure too low ) I replaced the purge valve but the code popped back up. My next step is to replace the vent valve which is just before the purge valve. Hopefully this helps
