Finding fitting used gearbox for BMW f48 LCI
I have my BMW f48 LCI 2021 20Xd with eight speed automatic gearbox crashed, and my gearbox was damaged, so I need a new one now. I am European based, and my gearbox number is 2400 5a2ac22, and gearbox code is GA8Y45HW. Gearbox electronic has 2 codes on it (it has survived), first one is 2400 5A20558, and second one is 674608.
So my question now is can I buy and instal second hand one, and what would be fitting gearbox to buy? I have found some other gearbox with different code on it: GA8Q45HW. Will that one fit, and what are my options. I have tried looking into parts catalogue, but I have not found any which contain newest updated parts data. When I find one, is it enough just to transfer electronic from my gearbox to the new one, or additional coding is necessary? Thank You in advance! Thank you very much. |
