On my old 6MT N54 335 there was a clutch delay valve mod to help a similar shifting feeling. Is this something we can do on the 340?

It's also cold AF in indiana right now and I have track package with summer tires so could just be car trying to maintain but even when it's been in the 50s I noticed it. If I don't use the paddles it's noticeably smoother. With paddles if I shift anywhere above ~5000 RPMs it's rough when I'm WOT

Did two firmware updates I assumed since I just got it the unit would be pretty up to date but it wasn't... totally smoothed it out

I did 5 WOT logs for Terry and I did not have that shift lag/choke anymore. This was after I updated to firmware 5e. I hadn't noticed chokes in 5d either.
I just put my bms intake back on so more logs coming! |

It's the B58 torque management kicking in at high load shifts. AA will give you the same issues.
You just need to get off the throttle a bit at the shift points, and it will be fine. Even with the car stock, you can slightly feel the power cut at the 2-3 shift, it just becomes a lot more pronounced with a piggy-back. |

Guys with manuals would never see this (unless they are doing that full throttle money shift).
You just need to "re-learn" how to drive an automatic when paddle shifting. |

IMO has nothing to do with the tune. My car is bone stock except for mpe and awe mids at the moment and i experience this too. Pulling hard after 5k rpms between the first 3 gears. Car feels really rough in between shifts using paddles. In sport+ will feel more like the tires slightly lose traction in between shifts in a xdrive. And when in sport only feels like the xdrive tries to make up for this so you feel a little lag in between shifts.
