yeah, my cousin (who works for daimler-chrysler) told me there was a driver once that after a race was pissed about something so he undid the steering wheel (it just clicks in place) and threw it on the ground next to the pit crew. they gave him the pink slip saying he just caused $30k worth of unnecessary damage and lost the race.
