420d undertray damage
Hi
I let my wife drive my 420d today and she drove over a piece of metal on the bypass so she was doing around 70mph and it’s damaged the undertray but has also hit some pipes. Before I take it to BMW for them to tell me to remortgage my house does anyone have any idea which ‘pipes’ they are? They don’t seem to be leaking but wanted to get an opinion before I take it any further. Any help appreciated Thanks |

Look to be fuel supply with that bend before going up into the tank. (note the blow up moves the lines apart, they actually are closer)
I hit a block of ice this winter with a hefty repair bill. Glad no one was hurt. |

Yeah, surprised it isn't leaking but I'd get it looked at ASAP.
Mine was more front end.. no bodywork but lots of plastic bits & front radiator. They really nickel and dime on the plastic pieces with no aftermarket parts available. |
