Yup, UK Insurance costs have gone up by over 50% this year for it seems no reason other than electric cars being written off too easily.
I too was quoted £150 more by LV than I paid last year (£360), after trying all the comparison sites and DL (£850!!!!) etc I have now gone with 'Flow' at just over £400, comp, no breakdown or frills, 14k inc business use, this is with 25 years NCD.
Oh - and Flow are another brand of,,, LV! brand muppetry in action.

Similar here in the U.S. Everything went up this month. Car insurance, home owners, etc... Even the car insurance is changing the billing from annually to every six months. The cause they say is due to electric cars and drivers being more distracted, and supply chain issues, this is literally what they typed in the letter they sent us.
