That looks like Atlantic Grey to me. I think if you parked a Mineral Grey and an Atlantic Grey side by side the Atlantic Grey is on the blue side.

I had decided on Platinum Silver until I asked the sales guy to show me my alternate colour choices (Atlantic Grey and Mineral Grey). After seeing the Atlantic Grey I changed my choice Atlantic Grey.

Seems we think along the same lines, i was biased for platinum until i saw the vid that i linked above! Not sure which interior color to go with, in general i prefer a light interior and no black, but in the X1 the light interior is combined with dark lower plastic parts e.g. on the doors what i dont like at all. The brown leather is nice but i dont think it fits with the grey?

I went for Oyster interior with my Platinum Silver. Specifically because I didn't want bright lower dash/trim like Canberra Beige. But both colours look great with Platinum Silver.

I wish Atlantic Grey was offered in the US. It is a beautiful color and looks great on X1.

It's nice to see a Sport Line X1 for change (not xLine or M Sport).
On darker colors I don't like the exterior Silver design elements we can find on xLine.
Those are gone on Sport Line and you have the side skirt and other trims in body color, black vertical slats in the kidney grille, ... love it.
Can't wait to finally get mine.

- Anyone else ordered the Sport line?
- And configured the mirror caps in black high-gloss? (I like how it goes with MedBlue body color but I never saw it live, just in the simulator).

I like the colour as seen in these photos.
When I looked at the colour sample at the dealers the Atlantic Grey looked greenish grey (seawater on a cloudy day). In these photos it looks more blueish.
Has anyone seen an Atlantic Grey X1 in the daylight?

I've seen one in the showroom and one outdoors. Interesting colour in that in the shade it looks more blue, and in the sun more grey.

Glacier Silver is very nice in bright daylight, I'm surprised it doesn't seem a common choice around here.

Ok so I went to the dealership asking to see the X1 in atlantic grey, which wasnt possible, no vehicle available. However, they happened to have a used 218d Grantourer in atlantic grey. I was lucky to see it parked between grey cars of all shapes and sizes, so i got a quite good comparison:

a) in RL atlantic grey is - by far - not as "blueish" as shown in the video above
b) i did not see it in the sunlight but in the showroom, and i would say that picture #1 above in posting #120 (in the shade) covers best, what this color really looks like
c) it is a fairly dark grey, darker than mineral grey, only bmw's dark graphite grey is a bit darker
d) in artificial light is has a very subtle blueish tone, while i would describe dark graphite grey having a subtle black tone, mineral grey being a perfectly "neutral" grey without any more colors added, and space grey being by far the lightest color of all of the 4
e) if you prefer a light color, go with space grey, if you are undecided between a black and grey car, then dark graphite probably is a good choice. If you plan adding a lot of black style elements i d say go with mineraly grey. If you are looking for a color complementing shiny style elements like the aluminium in the grill or on light roofbars, then atlantic grey should look awesome (be aware though that direct sunlight does change the colors look to a completely lighter color than you might expect)

Hope this is helpful for some undecided about (grey) color choices.

Sport seats with "Race grey" cloth. In standard setup ( without xline or sport line) if you take sport seats, you get this cloth included together with electric bolster support. Seats don't have electric adjustment.

In Sport line package you get the same cloth material only with red decoration.
