Reversing camera uses

Is there any way of powering up the reversing camera whilst on the move to act as a rear dash cam . I know the length of time it remains on after selecting drive can be altered but wondered if it could be permanentlty set to ON.

no - just buy a rear dash cam.

No idea what benefit you would have of seeing on your screen someone running into you.
