Need more traction

Looking for better than stock traction. I am looking
at nitto Invo or NTo5. What tires do you feel
give good traction but aren't drag radials?

The two popular options I've seen are:
Bridgestone Potenza RE-71R
Yokohama Advan Neova AD08R

Bridgestone RE71Rs are great. 265/35R19 fronts & 285/35R19 rears if you have 19' wheels.

Do the 285s (rear) really give you a wider contact patch than the stock 275s if you're still using the same wheel (437M). I heard not...

Tire section width is highly dependent on the wheel width. However, tread width (contact patch width) is mostly dependent on tire construction and varies little with wheel width.
