Has anyone taken off the TPMS from stock wheels?

I recently purchased a set of new rims. Someone had told me that I can remove the OEM TPMS from stock and place it in my new rims. Ofcourse the gaskets have to be replaced. Has anyone done this? Will this damage the Original stock wheel and tires?

It won't damage your OEM wheels. You can just take it up to the place your getting your other rims/tires put on and they can exchange them. They'll charge you for it as well. Make sure your new rims are TPMS compatible. Or you can just buy another set of TPMS from Gary at the Tirerack for $200 bucks.
