New Z is suppose to start just under $40k. So starting msrp you are talking about nearly +50% premium for a M2. They are not even remotely in the same price category. You adding $18k of options to your argument doesn't work. Maybe when the Nismo version comes out, it will be priced with a M2. G87 M2 msrp will be into $60k range when it launches, since it will have more features from M4 like carbon roof, adapt suspension, etc. Keep in mind that last 370Z available was the Nismo spec, it's msrp was only $46,715. It will be over $60k msrp. I'd put money on that.
The G87 will have less decontenting that was done with F87 compared with the F82. No shot they don't raise the msrp of $58,995 for the G87. Certainly inflation will have a say as well. Last edited by M3WC; 04-01-2022 at 03:45 PM.. |

Funny some 240Z owners may like that colour so it match their originals
Also, best way to get a deal on a new car, pick the shit colour

Yeah then try selling it. Eve on SUPER high demand cars, the really brutal colours, both interior and exterior, see significant issues moving them.

It could be some geriatric beige if the price is right and would be the perfect candidate for a wrap. Not a lot of creases, would be a relatively easy job.

I've always been a fan of the 90's 300ZX (more so because my neighbor had one and I was driving a 1984 Pontiac 6000 in high school and early days of college). I love that they finally moved back in that direction, design wise.
BTW what would you call the color of the wheels? Just got a Melbourne red Z4 and looking to get the wheels powder coated. I love the contrast without being truly black wheels.

One of the things I loved about the first gen BRZ. The came stock with 17x7 215/45/17. But without even touching the fenders (assuming you were on coilovers) you could fit 18x9.5 ET38 with 255/35 200 TW tires on the car. If you want to make a small trim to the inside of the rear bumper, you could stuff 18x10 265/35s all the way around. Apparently the 2nd gen has less clearance in the back. |
