Good eyes
Good eyes but to me it looks like an entire thicker layer of "camo" material slightly smaller all around the perimeter of the black tape. You can see this in the photo right below the one you mentioned.

Wheels
I really wished I liked there darn wheels. Many seem to. I really like the E36 and E46 M3 wheels but these I just don't like. Still hoping they are not the production wheels but suspect they are. As someone else pointed out they just look too classy (good for 5 ro 7 series but not M3). Also they look REALLY tough to clean.

I understand where you guys are coming from. However, I do not think that these wheels are the optional 19", but rather the stock 18". For the E46 M3 I did not like the stock wheels, in fact I hated them. But the Magnesium 19" were awesome and then obviously the CSL Rimms were superb.
I think there will defenitely a better sets of wheels available. Also, there have been pictures of a 335i with the M6 wheels; and that looks too damn good! |

I KNOW ITS A REALLY BAD PHOTOSHOP JOB!! - bad positioning, misaligned, bad color, misproportioned...I know, I'm sorry! I'm a baker, not a graphic designer!! I just HAD to see what the front might look like. And when I was done, I thought others might care to see it, and then bash on my PS skills. If you squint - it helps...!! |

I understand the E46 M3 came with stock 18 inch wheels but most of us are expecting 19 inch wheels as stock on the new E90/92/93 M3. There must be a good reason why only 18 inch wheels were used on E46 other than the fact that its cheaper. Most cars feel bumpier on roads when they run on 19 inch wheels notwithstanding that 19s look better compared to 18s. So does it mean the new M3 will be a less comfortable ride?

Right on
+1. Excellent p-chop work! Nice skills But I can's stand the car. Can't put my finger on it but it does look totally Japanese. Just does not look like a BMW nor a lot like the spy pics.

A better place?
Shall this be continued in the best place, the sticky p-chop thread? Has gotten way OT. I'm not an admin. ... but that would be the best place.
