Iphone camera mount case for the track?

Hello fellow iphone users... this looks interesting for $100. ads a wide angle lens, and is made of aircraft aluminum... I doubt you can use a GPS booster with it though...

Looks promising if you have a tripod mount somewhere in the car.

I have a GPS add-on for my ip4 and use the Satechi CR-3600 mount, works great.

I think its silly spending $100 on a camera kit for a phone with a sub-par lens, compared to a dedicated camera

I don't know... The 4S is pretty damn good not only for a cell phone, but compared to a good number of $200 point an shoots out there. Then again, I don't know that I'd spend extra money on a point and shoot, either.

And you can't use Harry's lap timer on a point and shoot!

Up to you guys. I prefer my Gopro, and its ability to shoot at 60fps, get wet in the rain, and mount on the outside of the car

Agreed but when your ip4 can be used as a timing device overlayed with video it might be worth it. My mount was only $20 something but even at $100, that's still far less than something like Traqmate.

But yea $100 for that is a lot... lol

if you are getting a dedicated camera you shouldmgetna contour hd gps. not onlyndoesmit shoot 60fps but it also takes a gps log along with the video. then when you play it back on their software another screen shows you on google earth with your speed and altitude. it works great for skiing as well.
