FS: JB4 for the B48/B58 Engine Variants - 450$
hey everyone,
this has been an amazing little community but eventually i decided to move on from the x2 m35i and today purchased a 2021 audi s4 prestige. the difference in quality, refinement and power is night and day. that said, i had fun with the m35i. so, i'm selling the jb4 with the obdII adapter for 450$ shipped via UPS or FedEx to anywhere within the US. it works fantastically, and i highly recommend to whoever buys it, that you run map 2 if you have the m35i. it will, however, work with any b48 or b58 engine. i can also include the wireless bluetooth connector for an extra 60 dollars if you want it. so $510 for the entire package. pm me with any questions or purchase inquiries as i'll be notified via email so i won't have to check here all the time.

Sorry to see you go. I hope you really enjoy the new car. On another site there is a wise old man who repeatedly says life is short, enjoy what you drive. Good luck with the new ride, stay safe

Thanks, guys! I appreciate it. The S4's cabin is best-in-class in my opinion. I was able to snag a prestige model with the red, quilted interior. Sublime and the V6 is buttery smooth with more than adequate power on demand. Such a cool car!

I’ve raced an s5 and off the line it’s a rocket, no replacement for displacement.
I didn’t feel outgunned at speed though. |

if i stuck a jb4 on the s4 - the thing would be even more amazing, but i'm not going to because it's pretty damn quick as it is from the factory.

Good for you...happy for you, as long as you're happy for yourself.
I'm riding this thing out, but once my lease is up, I'm currently considering either a run back to hot hatch world with a MK8 Golf R or get into that new Lexus IS500...never had a Lexus, and that naturally aspirated V8 action is calling to me. Test drives will out, of course, but for now these are the only future rides stirring my blood. We'll see in two years, though. Good luck and enjoy!

Say it ain't so...
I've only been here for a short while (and my car's still on the boat), but I've enjoyed your posts and have learned alot. The Audi's are nice rides, and I was definitely looking at them too. If they had an SQ3 or an S3 sportback, I may have done it. But I'm a BMW homer through and through and have had 5 since 2000 - with brief flirts with Saab (RIP) and Volvo. Good luck. |

I looked at a lot of different cars, and the rs3 was at the top of my list. I ultimately ended up with the x2m35i for a couple reasons. I wanted a fun car as I was replacing a f150 platinum, but I also needed to fit a 6 foot ladder in the car. The x2 does it and no other car that I looked at would fit the equipment except a larger suv. Those were not nearly as fun of a car to drive. |

i love the audi. i was never happy with the m35i. it was much too crude of a ride and the powertrain wasn't refined by any means. it was a mistake, but one that was able to be remedied, thankfully.
i'm sticking the jb4 on ebay because the community is so tiny here even with the regular x2/x1/2 series gran coupé -- just no interest in this product here.

Often even after extensive research and test drives, you don't know what you have until living with it for few months, and sometimes you acquire cars unplanned and unexpectedly, so no shame in swapping rides. I usually get bored with each car at the 6 month mark, but am still very happy with my M35i, granted, haven't driven as much as I'd like to, but still. |
