iPhone 6s Plus
Just wondering if an iPhone 6s Plus with the universal lightning snap in adaptor will fail in the armrest? It looked pretty tight when I went for a test drive last week.

I think it will, but I would respectfully suggest that adapter is likely to be a waste of money as it does not give you the antenna boost. In the absence of that, the USB port under the armrest is equally effective.

Thanks for the reply ttimbo. Someone's actually giving me their adaptor so it won't cost me anything. Shame it won't boost the signal but I plan to attach my music collection via an ssd to the usb port under the armrest. If I can fit my big iPhone in the snap in adaptor area I won't need to keep switching between SSD and phone.
btw, would the USB port accept a splitter to give me 3 or 4 USB ports? |

Well, I think it's probably worth the price you're paying, then
Unfortunately not

I do not use the BMW adaptor cable, just a standard USB to Lightning cable to charge the phone when needed.
Most of the time, the phone stays in my pocket and I just use the Bluetooth connection (works very well). |
