Q. I’ve seen tuning boxes elsewhere for less money, aren’t they all the same?

A. No, some tuning boxes can be quite unsophisticated, resulting in limp mode conditions, black smoke, engine warning lights or worse. Often they will come with no engine warranty at all, or a warranty full of exclusions which is essentially worthless.
