Car slid on ice and hit a tree, any price estimates?

So during this past crazy snow storm, my car slid between 5-10MPH, and hitting the driver's side on a tree...

Any price estimates *sniff sniff*?

Garage List
Take it to a bodyshop. An estimate from looking at two pictures is worthless.

So I brought it to a body shop.

They said they only use BMW parts...

Quoted everything 5.5-6k.

Why not claim this on insurance? This is what we have it for, it is technically weather related.
