Curiosity. Is there any parts from the European market that anyone desires to have? I'm in Germany for another year and I'm thinking about doing some exporting before I leave out.

I have bought several light modules so to have rear fog lights. Rarely use them, except to confuse tailgaters.

One can jury-rig the original switch to work but it is nice to have the graphics on the button.

No warning label visors are a popular purchase here. Lots of folks are interested in these.

Another would be the knee pad from a RHD car to modify and retrofit for passenger side. I may be the only person who has done that though.

Looking for the light switch with night vision and rear fog (61-31-9-493-736). Keeping my fingers crossed that someone figures out the coding.

"No warning label visors" could be interesting if you find a black interior G30 5 series set.

No warning label visors for an E85 Z4 2006 model year are of interest to me.

I don't know you, can't trust you (just saying.) Smiedmann's is inexpensive, extensive catalog and ships to USA. Better option IMO.

Definitely understandable. I think earning that trust is important so let me know how we can bridge that gap. Honestly Im new to the BMW scene and love to see other car guys win.

The Euro headlights w/out the amber inserts are intriguing. But are simply expensive, might not be able to sell many. Many would want them (i.e. me), few would think they were "worth it" (i.e. me).

I have a local friend who owns a garage that can possibly help with translating and sourcing. I just have to give into his request to work some hours at the shop but I'm already struggling for time as it is. He would be an amazing teacher for all things BMW.

We import a lot of stuff from the US. We have about 12 container per year. I can check if we could do it the other way around. The procedure is quite simple.
1. You register and you receive a personal number.
2. You order and pay the stuff you want and the seller send it to a destination/ address which includes your personal number.
3. Than you make a down payment for the shipping and we ship the container.
4. After the container arrived in the US and the packages are ready for shipping to you home you make the final payment.
We have to figure out how it works with the import tax and Customs but all this is manageable.

Schmiedmann is a good source for ROW parts and ships via DHL in under a week. They sell new and used. I'm sure you can make a few bucks on a smaller scale, though. Good luck.
