Spacers on 17 M-Sport w/ H&R Springs

Anyone run spacers on the factory 19's? I tried searching but didnt really find much. Looking to run my 12mm spacers on the stock wheels with the H&R spring drop.

I switched from the factory wheels to a set of 17" Mini Cosmos so that I could run 55 series tires...into less harshness and protection against rim damage...don't need to run @ "9/10's" anymore so don't miss the lower profile handling. These wheels need 10mm spacers up front to clear larger BMW calipers...don't notice any handling "issues"..just a slight improvement on "turn in"...which in what is a FWD vehicle almost all the time...is a good thing!

PS Got my spacers along with longer lug bolts from ECS..good quality parts..and they run "specials" from time to time..think I paid less than $100 for spacer and bolt kit.

Got my H&R springs in and Turner Motorsport 12.5mm spacers. Love the way the spacers set off the wheels now. This will hold me over until I get some different and bigger wheels in the spring.

Do you think 15mm would be too much?

Yea I think so, 12-13mm is the sweet spot for these wheels.

I don't think it's too much. This is on 18" stock M-Sport wheels and suspension.

Ah, that's right. Your 19's are wider with the lower offsets. The 12mm spacers would be ideal in that case.

Thanks! I got my 12.5mm spacers with bolts from Turner. The antracite ones match the hub color, can’t even tell they are on unless you look closely.

So do 12.5 spaces for both the rear and fronts correct? I may do the springs as well. Is the difference noticeable?

Yes, I did the 12.5mm Turner Motorsport spacers all around. Noticed less body roll, car feels more planted on road and feels like it has better road presence. I mainly went for aesthetics. But definitely an improvement over stock. Can't wait for summer to change up the wheels. Plan on running 20x9's.

I'll be happy to take those wheels off your hands in the spring

Installed the BMS Pedal tuner today, highly recommend to anyone looking for some more response from the throttle. Instantly noticed HUGE difference. Next up JB+ and BMS billet intake.
