New X2 on order

X2 sDrive28i, Standard Design, Premium Tier, Alpine White, Magma Red Dakota Leather, Brushed Aluminum Trim with Pearl Chrome Accent, Driving Assistance Package + ACC Stop & Go, Dynamic Handling Package, Wireless Charging and WiFi Hotspot, Park Distance Control, Heated Front Seats. As I mentioned in a previous thread, I think that when you add ACC S/G, it deletes the heated wheel for whatever reason. This appears to be the case regardless of appearance pack/S or XDrive.

Congrats. I think the ACC feature requires a steering wheel contact sensor that cannot coexist with heated steering.

Whoa-whoa-whoa. Stop the clock. 🙈

What is making you think ACC deletes heated steering wheel? Did I miss that on the order guide?

For the record, my 2014 F30 has both ACC and a heated steering wheel.

Downunder, the X2 specification guide says you cannot have the heated steering wheel with 5AT driving assistance package.

yes, you missed it, ACC deletes the heated steering wheel in '18 and '19 x2's in the US.

I don’t understand why BMW has these annoying configuration restrictions. My wife’s 2019 X3 M40i has ACC and heated steering wheel, and the hand contact sensors on the steering wheel still work.
