Cabin filter replacement

I am trying to change the cabin air filters in my '16 X1, which are located inside the center console in the passenger footwell.

I was able to remove the one screw that holds the plastic cover on the console itself, but it cannot come off as it is held at the top by the plastic part under the dash.

Would you know how to remove this plastic part that is located under the dash in the passenger footwell?

Thanks
