New to me '20 M35i, suggestion on 18" wheel?

Good morning all,

I just picked a slightly used '20 M35i as a daily vehicle. The winter is upon us and I am planning to use it to go up to several winter resorts around So Cal. Furthermore, I rather drive around in 18 or 19 than 20" due to road conditions.

I searched this forum for 18" on M35i to no result. Let me know if you have personal experience or know of 18" that will fit the brake caliper.

Thank you,
Mack

check tirerack. i didn't find any options great, but one of them might appeal to you. that said, i don't like aftermarket wheels much, unless they can pass as oem, but you might find something.

also the oem 19" 715m wheels are an option if you can find them.

Yes 18's do fit, but it might be subjective to the wheel design. Also, my wife's 18" X1 stock wheels do clear, it's tight fitment but would work fine as an alternative.

Davy,

Your 19" that you posted for sale would have worked. I am a little late to the game.

Yes, I am not too keen on the aftermarket wheel.

Thank you,

The stock X1 19" 572M wheels work too. Same offset as our X2.
Check on Kijiji or Marketplace, I got these there and they were almost new (take off before leaving the dealer).

I have these from tirerack:

18X8 MSW TYPE 49 MACH/GREY

225/50R-18 BRIDGESTONE BLIZZAK WS90 SL

They look pretty good and I only paid $1400 total over the summer with the promotion and picking them up at the distribution center. Blizzard tested yesterday.

Hi,

How much clearance do you have between the brake caliper and inside of your 18”?

Many thanks for your help.

Have a great Christmas.

Thanks,

Mack
