They should fix the X4 exterior design and update the interior first.

But anyway, we should save our complaints for the next R (Ranchero) Pick Ups line by BMW :|

I kind of like the way this looks. A nice set of wheels, drop it an inch or two, some deep tint, darken/black'n out a few things, it'll be a nice little cruiser.

X6 looks best out of these coupe like SUVs. Id take x4 but it is ugly. I think x2 will be smaller and uglier.

Exactly, hey BMW how about putting your efforts into a real sports car instead of this crap!

Yes we will see an M Performance X2 model as well as an X1.

Its a low volume niche model that sells over its initial projected 10% of total 5er sales. And it is very popular in other markets.
The next one based on the long wheelbase 5er in China will be more of a Coupe-esque hatchback with the luxury and ambience of the new 7er.
Its stretched wheelbase leads to a more dynamic outline.

It looks similar to this.

It makes sense because BMW are not the only ones reacting to market demand but so are Audi , Mercedes-Benz with the GLC/GLC coupe and even Porsche who are developing a smaller SUV below the Macan as well as Coupe versions of the Macan and Cayenne.
The market is hot for these vehicles and that means huge profits.
You cannot single out BMW for criticism and then shower praise on someone who is doing the exact same thing.

I don't know but I never liked any GT model, but I like the X6 though...
Yes if we take the 3er GT it sells exceptionally well in Europe and Asia exceeding its 10% of total 3er units. Again 3er GT is a low volume niche model but very profitable because of its ability to be developed from the existing matrix.
The 4er Gran Coupe is also another example of this philosophy.
Both are very profitable and boost overall 3er/4er combined sales.

The X4 like the X6 is also a niche model that is low volume and is proving to be a force on the market especially in markets where customers cannot financially meet the cost of an X6. As a low volume model X6 E71 sold over 260,000 units in its lifecycle.

Well we are testing i8s with autonomous and gesture technology as well as inductive charging so it is a possibility to make production.

The X7 will be launched in mid-late 2017.
BMWs year of the SAV. The new X2, the next generation X3, X6 LCi and the new X7.

Fun fact in the first year of US sales of the BMW 5er Gran Turismo.
Total sales made up the total of three years sales for the E61 BMW 5er Touring.
The 3er Touring F31 in the US market is being outsold by the 3er GT, X1 and X3.
Hence why full attention is being put on the upcoming new BMW X1 being launched on the US market quickly, giving the E84 BMW X1 a US market life of just only four years.

GC and SAC are okays, 6 Series GC and X6 are great cars, so I got the point of making 4 Series GC and X4 and maybe X2...

But 5 Series GT is the thing I didn't like at all, even in Europe and Asia (which I lived before) why not buying the actual 5 Series Touring?

It looks better and provide the same practical features!

Is the 300PS model the eDrive? Otherwise, I would assume it's an N55/B58, which would then imply a longitudal RWD platform right?

No the eDrive will be the same drivetrain that will be featured on the imminent BMW 223e Active Tourer.
At the IAA, an X1 eDrive pre-production concept will be shown. A similar option will be offered on the new MINI Clubman and next Countryman.
The M Performance model will use a four cylinder developed to give over 300PS but will be available with xDrive only.

Scott, BMW canceled F47 X2 in favor of the F39 X2/XCite. Can you talk about the differences between these two projects?

I think we'd all agree that there are just not enough BMW models currently on the market. In addition to the 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 series, the X1,X2,X3,X4,X5,X6 and soon to be X7,the i3 and i8, all of the M-Sport and GT variants and the M2, M3, M4, M5, M6, X5M and X6M, there just isn't enough choice for the consumer. Personally, I am waiting for updates on the X2 gran coupe GT m-sport Xi edition.

The XCite ( Actually trademarked by Toyota) is now expected to be a stand alone entry vehicle, but X2 has now been given the green light.
As you will see very soon.
