clean DEF injector just because???

anyone clean it before a check engine light? im coming up on an oil change soon and wondering if I should.... or am I possible asking for issues??????

also since I am typing.... I have seen many videos on how to fill the def, but I don't see if you have to have to reset any sensors.. is it just fill and go?

I can't imagine cleaning it would cause an issue.

I've never reset anything when filling the def.

I wouldn't mess with it until it throws a code. It's super simple to do when or if the code comes. As for the DEF, it's just fill and go.
