You boasted how you have owned most every car out there. Yet you sure dont speak like you have any real Porsche experience.
LOL "They all know if something breaks, chances are they will be on the line for the repair." Porsche is one of the few brands that stands behind their cars on track. Btw, I have a 997 gt3 with a sharkweks 4.1 stroker that I track. I also have a 991.2 gt3 that I track. Daily was a supercharged e90 m3 that I just sold. No issues with the manual transmission here. You don't speak like someone who actually tracks their car

As someone who has had 2 out of 4 bad since 2017, I completely disagree with you. Do you have any actual engine or transmission warranty experience with Porsche? Or are you more interested in boasting on what you have or want us to believe that you have?

PS: what year is your 991.2 GT3?

I cant win with you Littleworm. If I don't post a pic you say I'm posing, if I post a pic I'm "bragging". Never an issue on or off track. 2007 manual, 2018 manual. I could post all my other cars but you couldn't handle it.

Im not in a pissing match with you. But you are right. I have actual engine and transmission warranty experience with Porsche and you clearly do not. So in that respect you cant win because you have zero crediablity or experience.

And please keep your little boy flexes to yourself. It screams I have a small P_ _ _S. Moving on because you have nothing to offer here. And we all see that.

So I can't comment because I beat the crap of my 2018 gt3 and didn't have any issues? You cry because Porsche bought back your car? You certainly seem like someone who likes to play the victim.

You shouldn't be mad at others that have a lot more than you, hard work does eventually pay off toodles

GM should remove that visualizer. Those 8bit graphics look horrible. Why would they do that?

Porsche's first GT4 had the front strut tower issues cracking and some cases being outright destroyed, they did nothing. Porsche had no choice as their GT3 crowd is a MUCH smaller bunch of people and is their "flagship" performance car. The Corvette is a 1/3 of that price at its highest point, previously. Not sure why a manufacturer should be held responsible if their street car overheats on a racetrack, despite me thinking why build a car of such capabilities ON the track if it can't maintain it.
hmm didn't know about the strut tower thing. quite a big issue now that i look into it. BMW i'm aware of their issues and doing nothing about it. kind of to be expected.

GT3 is a much smaller crowd yes, and a flagship car for them. But GM is a huge company by comparison and the vette is their halo car. I feel like if the cooling issue happened to the GT3 porsche would have immediately addressed it.

and i'm not trying to slam GM here... its a great car. But people shouldn't be expecting ferrari levels of build quality. Nor should a ferrari F8 owner expect Pagani/Bugatti levels of quality and materials.

Wow 😮 that’s crazy. What is causing these catastrophic failures- tracking, deep pot holes? WTH 🤬

I'd have to agree and I don't think anyone is expecting it to compete in build quality with Germans or Italians. But I'd be willing to bet, behind the wheel, it'll be pretty damn close and you're definitely getting way more than for the money. It's clear, GM is leasing the way in America when it comes to development and competing against the Europeans when it comes to track performance oriented vehicles, and that from a mopar fan. You just can't take away with what they've done with the Z06, ZR1, Camaro 1LE and all the other several acronyms, even the Cadillac Vs. They're obviously getting real close to offering a package that while won't be an exact comparison, certainly offers a strong value proposition for consumers.

The markups will definitely be crazy, especially considering how much the regular C8's are going for. The wait list too I'm sure will be never ending.

Holding out for the Manual version in 2026 or so (if it comes). That would make this car perfect. But no manual is a deal breaker for me. What is a point of a high revving, NA motor if you can't rip through the gears and heal-and-toe?

For now my SS 1LE is the perfect car for me. But I'd be willing to trade on a C8Z with a stick shift.

i'm with you there. no manual in a sports car is a deal breaker for me too.

i strongly doubt they make a C8Z with a manual, they'd have to re-do the entire dash layout.

I don't know how true this is, but I don't think a manual will happen. I believe its due to the chassis structure, mainly the center tunnel would be less rigid with a hole for shifter and linkage. I remember reading an article on that when the C8 was initially released.

Is it just me or does the C8 Z06 sound just like ain IndyCar?

The wide body as always really helps the car's lines. It's a great car for the money, I never got tired of either of mine. Of course having owned two of the plastic fantastic (C5/C6) I can't help but notice some of the same old wtf's.

If I art directed that shoot I might have tried to get that worked out before we started rolling.

But then you would be setting a wrong expectation. This is American made after all.
