GTS Half Cage
GTS style half cage with rear seat delete. Everything bolts up to the rear seat position so no cutting, welding, or fab is needed. Direct bolt in, 100% reversible. Cage is a one piece design like the OEM GTS. |

Who made it? I'll ask the question. Looks like a nice bit of kit though I can't quite get my head around how you get it in an f82 as one piece lol

Custom fabbed. You don’t need to take out the front seats to fit it. Pull them all the way forwards and tilt the cage in or out.

Any sense of the weight. I’m in The Bay but will see if I can possibly get my buddy to collect it for me

I haven’t weighed it separately before install but removing the rear seats and installing the rear seat delete with the cage dropped the car 5lbs so I’d say it’s an even trade off if you care about every last lb you can install without the rear seat delete and save a couple lbs

As someone who did extensive research on custom fabircation there is no one value. As many people just see metal bars painted/ powder coated there’s more to it. Just like a set of wheels or a racing seat there a lot to consider. Material used, 4 point, 6 point, 8 point mounting. Weld in, bolt in, function, form, NASA / SCCA complient or not. 1 piece, 2 piece, or 3. Includes rear seat delete or not, what kind of hardware used and so much more. I was just looking for a quick sale to create space so I priced well under what it was worth.

I did not PM anyone, please be carful of who is PMing you to ensure it’s not a scam. The cage and seat delete have been long sold. Side note: if you’re ever buying something off a forum member the seller should have no issues providing additional pictures of the product to prove legitimacy
