X1 M possibility?
Just wondering if anyone thinks that they will do an x1M, being they have an M for everything else? I really love my x1, went into one this November when my 320i rear wheel 6 speed was up for lease, and love it!!

Maybe not an X1M bit a m35i would do fine for me. Due to my back I need something higher to get into some time in the future insead of my F30 335i. Since there is a X2 m35i on its way I certainly hope they will make the same setup for the X1.

An X1 M (or X2 M for that matter) is not happening this generation, and possibly not next generation either.
An X1 M35i would make sense, and it was even rumored at one point to be coming along with the X2 M35i. However, the time on that seems to be just about up, since I don't see them introducing it past the LCI. If it doesn't happen this generation, next generation would be a good bet. |

My sense is BMW will keep the M35i for the X2 😢

2020 Countryman and Clubman JWC are coming out this summer with the M35 engine and specs. New Hybrid X1 coming out this summer for the 2020 LCI. They probably want the X2 to stay a little different from the X1 and with Mini getting the engine I don’t think it will happen now. They need to give Mini a push more than making an X1 M35 competitor to the JWC.
