BMW X1 Automatic 25D Vbox 0 to 60 Times

Just Did a few runs to measure the performance of The BMW X1 Xline Automatic 25D ..
I have used the Vbox Sport This a very accurate GPS accelerometer ..
I don't have a clue how to use the software that came with it.. But here are The basic figures...

0 to 60 mph 7.01s
30 to 70 mph 5.97s
50 to 70 mph 3.40s
0 to 100 meters 6.47s@59.3 Mph
0 to 200 meters 9.75s@76.7 Mph
0 to 400 meters 14.87@97.4 Mph
1/8 mile 9.79s@76.9 mph
1/4 mile 14.92@97.6 mph
Maximum G 0.592
Height Start 41.86 Meters
Height finish 39.43 Meters
Difference -2.43 meters

This is with 4 passengers..Full tank of fuel...BMW claim 6.6 secs...
I just put handbrake on.. select Sport mode + Sport mode gearbox ..Then floored it .. i did not use Launch control..

Without 4 passengers the 6.4-6.6 is reachable! Also, what do you mean by selecting sport mode gearbox? You said you selected sport mode, then sport mode gearbox? Also, did you turn traction off?

Ohh manual mode, i see, Sorry. Try alone or with one passenger only. When i have 4 in the car i can tell the difference easily compared to alone or with a singular passenger.

Try with traction off, will help help with the launch.

Do keep me posted as this is really interesting as i feel you can reach the 6.4 second mark driving alone.

But do keep in mind that the launch control fucks the transmission big time and that it may void warranty if used excessively. (100 times)

lastly, its recommend that you do a couple of thousand miles before you use launch.

My experience with the 2.8i petrol version is that launch control = a brake stand. No real difference between just flooring the throttle with the brake pushed and then lift brake. Cool that you have a Vbox.

I did a few more runs full tank of fuel 4 passengers with traction control off the results were very consistent ...

0 to 60 mph 7.01s
30 to 70 mph 6.05s
50 to 70 mph 3.42s
0 to 100 meters 6.46s@59.3 Mph
0 to 200 meters 9.76s@76.5 Mph
0 to 400 meters 14.89@97.1 Mph
1/8 mile 9.79s@76.5 mph
1/4 mile 14.95@97.3 mph
Maximum G 0.620
Height Start 32.07 Meters
Height finish 28.61 Meters
Difference -3.46 meters

I did about 8 runs and every result was within a tenth of a second...
I Just planted my foot down left it in auto... i did not bother with manual because i never drive manual...Traction control made no difference at all...

Now if i were to launch with more revs then it may be faster with traction control.. but i never will drive like that...I decided not to try launch control...i may do it at a later date...

I bought the Race logic VBOX to do a before and after test...This is the before test..
I have just purchased a Racechip Ultimate Connect they claim Up to 64 hp more +113 Nm torque

So will see how fast it is soon....0 to 60 should be around 6 seconds!
