Exclamation Ferrari 812 Competizione A Revealed: V12 Targa With 830 HP

Dare I say a tad too busy??? I'm certain the performance will be undeniable.

https://www.motor1.com/news/505454/f...ione-a-reveal/

Major props for the "Highest Revving Ferrariever and the delicious Naturally Aspirated V12!!!"

Quote:
At the heart of the hardcore 812 models is a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 pushing out 830 horsepower and 510 pound-feet (692 Newton-meters) of torque. It's an increase of 30 hp over the Superfast while torque has gone down by 19 lb-ft (26 Nm). The full horsepower kicks in at 9,250 rpm, but you can rev the twelve-cylinder engine up to 9,500 rpm, thus making it the highest-revving Ferrari road car ever.

and they will probably trade for over $1M, if you can even get one. This will probably be limited to VIPs only. It's good to be rich. Too bad I am not.

Yeah, that back is nearly as bad as the awful SF90. Nearly.

We're so fancy we're gonna make a convertible with absolute shite visibility.

But I'd still love to hear it at full tilt.

It's maybe not full Europa ugly, but there are some similarities.

There is something about the lines down the side and the way the front end is pinched that strikes me as odd as well. On first blush I'm not loving it.

Pretty funny when you make your front engine car look mid engined. Between recent designs and their F1 team, Fezza looks pretty lost.

Agreed. When spending this much money and emotion on a performance car, make it a true sports car. There are far too many big and heavy FR GT vehicles to choose from in the market.

Nope. Plenty of ugly cars that aren't faster than eyesight. X6, GTR, the Ferrari California, all plenty fast, still impossibly ugly, even as they disappear ahead of me.

You misunderstood. Acceleration cures blind spots.

It's been downhill for Ferrari since the Pista (masterpiece). The new cars just don't look that great in comparison to prior models. Obviously not the terrible levels BMW has sunk to lately in styling, but it's disappointing to see.

On that top shot, it looks like the roof gets placed into the hood for storage hah.

So good. Naturally aspirated V12. So good.

I followed behind an 812 Superfast in the Italian Dolomites in 2019 for a few enjoyable kilometers! The driving was rather subdued due to traffic and pedestrians, otherwise the Ferrari would have left me in the dust.

Doesn't look much like a Ferrari, IMO.

And what's with that silly black moustache across the hood?

Probably works with the C8 'Vette too.
