Head unit firmware updates?

Ok, so I signed the papers today for a 2018 X2, sDrive18i.

It already has CarPlay, but it's not full screen. On BMW software update it has:

Software Update found: UPD11024

But looking at the document, this is really only Bluetooth updates.

I see that Bimmer Remote is offering a Firmware + Fullscreen update for the MBT EVO Entry Nav2 units. What Firmware is this that is offered? I presume its different to UPD11024.

What could I ask the dealer to do before they deliver the car for me in three weeks, that could update the head unit software?

Not sure which firmware BimmerRemote it is but i just got it done by them and it's great. i have '18 xdrive, carplay but not fullscreen.

Fwiw, I've tried the usb stick head unit BMW update that you can find on the official website, it also did not make the Apple CarPlay full screen

The free official update from the website is just for phone compatibility. It won’t do anything for carplay. You need to pay someone to do the full screen. I’ll live with the half screen. Lol

On my 2018 I was able to do the full screen setting using bimmercode through my iPhone on a Wifi odb2. If you have software NBTevoX or above you can. On my buddies 2019 530 I had to buy a $40 file on eBay and use a odb2 enet cable and a windows laptop.

Hi, I replaced entrynav with entryna2 wifi 8.8 touch screen and joystick, I coded everything and everything works well. My problem is in programming, I can’t update the software on entryna2 and zbe4
After Tal calculate shows entrynav in red and entrynav2 in blue
What is the solution to this problem?
