So I cant be the only one who takes a picture when I park up next to a nice BMW/other. So go ahead, post your shots as you take them and see if someone parked up next to you

Note: I removed the last 2 digits of each plate just cause I dont have the car owner's authority to post these pics (obviously).

First Pic W/ Black M5 - Roosevelt Field Mall parked opposite of Grand Lux cafe by the cinema.
Second pic we E92 M3 - Roosevelt Field Mall parked in Nordstrom Parking opposite main entrance.
Third Pic - Best Buy in Rosedale, saw the owner, we both slowly got out of our cars to look at the others Bavarian beast.
Fourth Pic - E39 5er - By Red Robin's across from Roosevelt Field Mall.
Fifth and Sixth Pic - My favorite so far - another AW E90 ZCP with mirrors and splitters. Outside of Grand Lux Cafe in Roosevelt Field Mall. Love your car, really shows what a big difference the painted reflectors make too.

But thats the answer, glad someone knows whats good notice i park in accordance to the environment. If every one is inline, im in line. If im isolated and the other cars double parked, ill double park as well. IE the pic with the M5 - we are isolated from every one and you can clearly tell im mocking his stance to make the picture more appealing. The one with the other zcp e90, i just followed how he parked cause hes over the line as well, and i rather be closer to him than the other car. I know he wont ding my doors

Even WITH the M5 there, you look like a douche.
The M5 leaves you REALLY look like a jackass.

Personally I don't care, but when your car sticks out that much is when you get keyed, damaged, etc etc

Here's two pics of me parking next to some random Monaco Blue E90 all the way out at the end of the parking lot to avoid dings. This was when I first got my car last year (and didn't even have plates yet). Same color choice for interior too. Odo had ~100 miles I believe...

Absolutely agree. In the islands where I have my 320i, I get keyed every week for no apparent reason. But thats a different environment, So these things dont scare me any more. But I try to keep it in mind with the m3, the thing is, that M5 and I were completely isolated from the rest of the cars. So I didnt worry about it. If there are cars nearby then I def. think twice. But this is out of everyone's way, and NO one is walking over here except the owner of the M5.

But I always think about it in the back of my head.

Glad to see people finally posting, Its nice to know that Im not crazy. My friends think its a little over the top when I park next to a bimmer. Keep up the posts, I cant wait to see more awesome pics from you guys

Is it just me or wouldn't u find it weird if you came out and saw some guy u dont kno taking pics of your car? we're not driving ferrari enzos. and my bmw isnt uniquely modded or anything.

plus u dont really kno what he plans to do with that picture. For all you know he could be scoping out potential targets for theft

not at all. How is it suspicious if another bmw driver parks his car next to mine and takes pics? its not like I just pull up to take a picture. Its where Im going to park the car.

I didnt even really notice. The bumper got a love tap when it was parked in the city, you can see the scuff marks on the right. the bumper doesnt look discolored in person though... or at least ive never noticed. But its ok, its getting painted AW in 2 years
