Lol, completely understand now. Fiance use to cut my hair when it was shorter, but it's gotten to a point where she is not comfortable cutting it. Thick as all hell, I guess I thank my mother for that because my dad and older brother are basically bald.

Seems like that was happening before the pandemic, at least in my area.

Yesterday, we drove to FL & the flow of traffic was minimum 85 in the left lane. I'm not complaining about this at all. |

1). Being home during bright daylight makes me see that we made a huge mistake changing our lower kitchen cabinets from cherry like the uppers to black. The black show very speck of dust in bright sunlight.
2). I'm busier than ever for work, it seems other people don't have much work and are just looking for things in between naps. Stuff is streaming over to me and my busy department more than ever (I like that though)

It was mentioned in our production meeting this morning that we can't wait for the folks at our corporate office to go back into the office so they'll stop finding shit for us to do for them.

My mother and dad are nonagenarians. Their life previously revolved around doctor's appointments; several per week was the norm. For the past two months the only time they've seen a doctor is when mom had to go to the ER for a nosebleed that wouldn't stop. They seem about the same health-wise as they did two months ago.

1. I still have to go into work because I'm "essential" i.e. "expendable"
2. The work-at-home folks are emailing me and asking for my help to do their job 3. My two activities are work and yard work 4. Amazon prime is taking forever to deliver 5. Gas prices are climbing back up 6. I'm exhausted everyday having to wear surgical mask at work. How do surgeon wear this all the time? 7. Food shopping is now a breeze through online order and pickup with no additional fee. It literally takes 2 minutes to pick up $200 worth of groceries. (Selected, bagged and loaded into your car. ) |

We're supposed to be going back to the office to work in July, even though there will be no students or faculty until mid-August. The only thing I can do in my university office that I can't do in my home office is catch this damn virus.
But yes, ordering groceries online to have them loaded in your car at the store is cool. Although there are items that I know are in the store that are not on the online menu (like frozen limeade concentrate), so sometimes I still have to go in.

Not sure what you're seeing in your different areas, but I think people are going through mask fatigue. I'm seeing less and less people wearing masks when I go grocery shopping.

This would be hilarious but my robot is too smart to run into anything. It's got my entire floor plan memorized. It's got sensors on the sides and bottom, plus LIDAR and WIFI. Pretty much all the creepy Skynet tools to rule human. It's even connected to Alexa.

#1 Whenever I go for a run all of a sudden my calves have been cramping and I've been experiencing strong heart palpitations. Not f-ng happy about that. Hopefully it's just the coffee which I've stopped drinking.
#2 Some neighbors close by smoke MJ in the afternoon because I can smell it when the wind blows. #3 Battery tenders are kinda interesting.

Good ones (coughCTEKcough) are for sure. I resurrected a 12-year-old battery with one recently. It's been going good for over a year since.
Not exactly an observance while sitting at home, but holy cow are the restaurants opening back up around here. |
