Hi everyone, any good OBD reader you would recommend for a 2018 F48? Preferably a low budget one and connect to an iPhone app.

My local main dealer told me the error code that we can get from these universal reader is not accurate and their official BMW diagnostic system will yield a different result. Is this true?

ISTA+ with enet cable is the best solution as it's the same thing the dealership uses. Well, they use an icom cable but enet is all you need.

Thanks you so much. enet cable - there seems to be a lot on Amazon UK, any specific brand would be better or they do the same job?

nah - they are all the same. i've tried ones that cost $25 US and others that cost $15 US and no difference at all between them.
