Lucky dude to have gotten a limited edition 1st MY z06 lol. Yeah these cars will be expensive for a while.
The back of these things are sooooo fucking bad. Like, how did this get approved at Chevy as a final design? Such a shame. If I do get one, I pray that some aftermarket companies start making something to help this thing

I finally sat in a C8. Base model 3LT trim. Not impressed. Leaning toward likely selling my C8Z shortly after getting it.

I agree. Do not like the seating at all.

Time to flip and buy a 458 with carbon seats. 458 market coming down. Win win.

I always said, would look much better if they removed the golf club trunk. Would be a good bit shorter and I think look better. This is why you kind of need the big wing to improve how it looks because it makes it look shorter than it is.

By the time these actually get delivered interest rates will be 26%. Can’t wait for the discounts! If GM ever actually builds these, that is.

So what you're saying is 300 people will get their cars in the next few months and then the next batch will show up a year from now when interest rates are 26%. Glad we're on the same page.

GM ever say how many are on Z06 waitlists? I know they like to advertise how many are lined up for their EV's.

Don't think it will be so bad. Rates won't be 26% and they will pull production up as well. What will change is they won't be 100k over sticker.

And since I'll be one of those 300 I don't care anyways.

No way, how shameful for someone to wait on a gas burner!

You should see the GT3 waitlists.

Just wondering how many are lined up. With such slow production roll out, people are going to be waiting ages. Never seen GM say how many are in line. Guess it isn't something Mary wants to brag about, since it gets 14mpg combined and doesn't fit into her EV push.

Uhhhhm... Okay then.
Recently, Texas dealership Covert Chevrolet listed a 2023 Chevrolet Z06 for sale with a $100,000 dealer markup. With options, that brought the price of the car up to an eye-wateringly high $241,995. On a car that starts at $106,395.

You can now get a decent 458 for $180k or so. A fool and his money...

On a side note, credit is drying up big time for buyers and banks want huge down payments for high dollar cars. A lot of people who think they can get financed may find out the hard way that they can't get financed.

Part of that seems to be a concern over ending upside down in marked up cars. The markets are adjusting I can imagine it’s not going to be pretty in some of these cases. Will be very interesting to see what happens to Z06 rollout given timing.

Car markets? I agree. I think thats going to play out longer than the economy itself because I really beleive with the adjustment on car prices + the longer loans we are going to have a lot more people end up upside down on car loans in the future years.

Economy wise. I’m not so sure. We have a strong shot of getting back into the 5.5%-5.85% range on mortgages next year
