20" wheel cracked?

Hey all.

So I just discovered that the slow leak I have been experiencing is from a crack in the inner lip of one of my wheels. I have literally put 2k miles on this car and have not hit anything, potholes, etc.

I wanted to know if this is a common issue with these wheels before I shell out the $ for a replacement.

I am strongly considering buying an aftermarket set that will hopefully not be as fragile but wanted some input here first.

Thanks in advance!

2k miles, meaning it's a brand new car? The OEM BMW wheels are among the strongest you can have on it. Shouldn't happen, without a serious impact IMO.
