I have noticed chipping/scratching on the running board. Is there a cover one can install? I have seen some on ebay but it doesnt show a picture of one installed on the car.

I was thinking having the small chipping repainted but I think it will just recur in the long run. Any suggestions

Carbon Fiber or Protective Film

I don't have any pictures handy.. I bought some generic CF vinyl stickers .. more so that my kids step on them vs myself. I put it right up to the edge, used a heat gun and plastic tools to tuck it inside the cracks as the body effects aren't exactly big and flat.

You could always buy clear paint protection film as well. Just clean the area really well.. and if you have a spray bottle with a drop of soap in it.. spray it generously to give you some leeway in placing it, squeegee it out and DONT touch it for a little while to let it dry and set/glue.
