That is for 3 years. Hopefully it will continue to be for longer

X1 (2017 F48 xdrive25d, 25,000 miles) is the most unreliable car I have ever owned in 39 years of motoring in almost 20 cars. Multiple suspension issues, electrical faults, seat problem, many rattles creeks and squeeks. They didn't come to me for their survey! Wish I'd kept my 100% reliable Skoda Yeti.

Would that be the pedal power one?

That was a joke by the way.

Perhaps a Friday car or you were incredibly unlucky.

You must be unlucky! I just turned 66 and live in Montreal and have owned cars since I was 16. When I got married, my wife and I continued to each own our own cars. In fact for a few years we were a 3 car family because we had one for our daughter. That is a lot of cars. My 2018 BMW X1 (fully optioned) is the BEST vehicle I've ever owned. Not 1 trip back to the dealership and we now have 33K Kms and 3 years later it still a fantastic vehicle. Most reliable vehicle I have ever owned. Even better than some vacation rentals (from 1 week to 1 month). It happens with every brand. I had a 2014 Nissan Maxima SL (4 speed gated shift) that had to be bought back by Nissan because it was a lemon and they placed me in a brand new 2015 Nissan Maxima SE (5 speed) with no extra costs. I also have a 2012 Infiniti G37xS Coupe (red) sports car that I purchased new and added a lot of aftermarket parts and did a dyno tune, and that car is still amazing (never winter driven) and reliable with 88K kms and 10 years. Yet the Bimmer is still better than my Infiniti!

agreed, at 72000 no issue, due to covid travel restrictions, I'm doing 600 miles a week travelling to work, did 30,000+ last year no single issue, any issue are caused by me trying to replace the satnav with an evo unit.
Still averaging 51.2mpg, full dealer service. by the way mine is 2017 X1 sdrive 18 diesel

You must be unlucky indeed. I have 40k kms on mine and 0 issues so far. Most owners I've spoken to have no complaints.
